Media students visited the set of the TV show Countdown at Media City, Salford to watch a live recording of the show. Full-time Media Production, A-Level Film Studies and A-Level Media Studies students visited the home to BBC, ITV and a vast range of production companies and businesses.
In its 15th year, The Georges returns to celebrate the incredible standard of work produced by Creative Digital Arts students at Ashton Sixth Form College. The Awards highlight those students who have worked exceptionally throughout the year, honouring a range of styles from short films to animation to games design to magazine covers to advertising campaigns to screenplays
#AshtonTalks launched with guest speaker Michael Pettyt, Director of Tracks and Layers, a motion graphics and visual effects company. He spoke to BTEC Media Production students about his experiences in the creative industry.
