You will investigate and analyse how and why businesses are successful, while also suggesting how they can improve. This course provides you with the skills and knowledge to learn about organisations from how they motivate staff to managing budgets and major projects.

This course is structured into four themes and consists of three externally examined papers. You will be introduced to business and build knowledge of core business concepts. Applying this knowledge to business contexts will develop a broad understanding of how businesses work. Breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, with applications to a wider range of contexts and more complex business information, are also developed.

You will take a more strategic view of business opportunities and issues. Our team will encourage you to use an enquiring, critical and thoughtful approach to the study of business.
