An opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate Computer Science specialist to teach on the A Level Computer Science course. The successful candidate will be accustomed to using highly effective teaching and learning methods and will create a welcoming, supportive and stimulating environment for students. The working environment within the department is fantastic and the successful candidate will be given full support and opportunity to develop within the team.

This role allows you to focus on teaching the subject you are enthusiastic about, to motivated young people who have chosen the subject and are keen to learn. You will have the opportunity to develop the curriculum, for example through extra-curricular activities, as well as developing your skills and teaching practice through the College’s Be Curious Teacher CPD programme, and the support of the dynamic leadership of the department. You will be part of a wider team of Scientists who strive for continual improvement in teaching and learning, student experience and student attainment.

We are looking for a teacher who displays the following characteristics:

· Excellent ICT skills that make learning visible in the classroom

· Passionate for your subject

· Enthusiasm and a dedication to work with 16-19 year old students to improve student outcomes

Salary: Sixth Form Colleges’ Pay Grade NSP1 – NSP9 £25,826 - £42,149 per annum
