Trustee
We are seeking individuals who are interested in joining our board of trustees, to lead the Trust into the next phase of our development. We wish to appoint people who knows what steps are needed to improve a school in a sustainable manner, but with pace, and who has the inspirational and organisational qualities to take a strategic lead on that journey, whilst preserving and further developing the beliefs, values and culture of the Academies within the Trust.

Audit, finance and risk
The trust seeks a trustee with strong audit, finance and risk experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in a charity or non-profit organisation, as well as demonstrating experience from a commercial, retail or industry setting, including evidence of contribution to growing a business, chain of businesses or franchises, as well as experience of head office and organisational development, including driving efficiency improvements in central services.
Education and School Improvement
The trust seeks a trustee who possesses skills and experience from across the educational landscape, with a specific requirement for school leadership. Experience of working in a role with responsibility for school improvement is welcomed.
Business, Governance and Human Resources
The trust seeks individuals who possess a strong ‘general’ skillset from across the business sphere, with a specific requirement for growth management. Experience working in a role with responsibility for corporate governance, legal services or human resources would be valuable.
Commitment
Trusteeship is a voluntary, unpaid role for people who have the energy and skills to make a real contribution to shaping the future of our schools. You do not need to have any specialist knowledge of education.
The time commitment is approximately 4 hours per month during term time as a minimum. Board meetings are held at the Trust’s registered office at Ashton Sixth Form College (OL6 9RL), mainly in the evenings.

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled professional to strategically lead and manage our finance and marketing functions. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of these functions.
The key Responsibilities for the role will be to:
· Lead and manage the finance and marketing functions.
· Support the Chief Finance & Operating Officer (CFOO) by providing accurate and timely information and reporting.
· Deputise for the CFOO when required.

Fairfield High School for Girls
Science Technician
Required as soon as possible
Salary: NJC Point 7 pro-rata – Actual Salary: £21,883
We are looking to recruit a motivated and multi-skilled Science Technician to join our Science Faculty. You will be working under the direction of the Faculty Leader for Science to assist with the organisation and preparation of lessons, working closely with staff and pupils. Other duties include basic housekeeping, stock control and maintenance of equipment. The role is varied and demanding with no two days the same. A Science background, or experience in a similar role within a school environment would be desirable however full training will be provided.
If you are an effective team player with a positive and proactive approach to work then we would like to hear from you. A willingness to be flexible in your approach will be essential. Acting in a professional manner and paying attention to detail and having the ability to carry out all duties in line with school expectations and health and safety guidelines are all qualities which are essential.

IT Network Manager

We are looking for an IT network manager to provide leadership and support to one of the schools within our multi academy trust. You will be experienced in managing and developing staff and leading technical projects. We are looking for someone with a good balance of soft skills and technical ability including Microsoft server and cloud technologies, Microsoft Intune or SCCM deployment systems and Office 365 administration.
You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in an expanding Trust and develop your skills further working with other highly skilled IT professionals.

Invigilator

Longdendale High School is looking for Exam Invigilators, responsible for the supervision of external (GCSE) and internal examinations in the examination rooms in accordance with the rules and regulations of the respective examination boards and the school.
The successful applicant will assist in admitting candidates to the examination room in a quiet and orderly way. They will assist with the handing out and collection of examination materials and will be constantly vigilant when an examination is running, ensuring that the conduct of the exam takes place within the stipulated guidelines. They will report any problems to the Examinations Officer.
