This is a Level 3 course and provides a pathway to degree courses including; Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and other health and science related degree courses.
English and Maths are embedded into the programme but there is also the opportunity to study GCSEs in English, Maths, or Biology at evening classes alongside the Access programme.
The goal of this Access course is to help you develop the academic, practical, and study skills, as well as the confidence, needed to progress to a degree programme. By completing this course, you can take a significant step toward achieving your career aspirations in health and sciences. It opens pathways to various professional health courses within the NHS.

The overall cost of this course is £3384. If you are age 19-23 WITHOUT a Level 3 qualification, the course will be free. If you are 24+, you can apply for a student loan. Student Finance England will 'write off' any outstanding Advanced Learner Loan balance you owe for an Access to HE course once you complete a Higher education course. This means you do not have to repay it.

This qualification is awarded by Skills & Education Group. Skills and Education Group Access is an Access Validating Agency (AVA) licensed by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), to validate and quality assure Access to HE Diplomas.
