Humanities day
This week, our Humanities students attended various sessions as part of our first Humanities Day with academics from four universities.
Dr Andrew Routledge (University of Liverpool) examined the contemporary relevance of Marxism, Dr Tim Oliver (University of Manchester) explained how stories shaped politics, and Dr Tom Walsh (University of Leeds) got our students to consider the different issues and views around climate change.
Finally, some of our Sociology students took part in a focus group with academics from Middlesex University about their experiences of conspiracy theories online.
Thanks to all of the academics who took, and to our fantastic students for their involvement and engagement. If you study one of our Humanities subjects, don't forget to follow our newly launched Instagram page, @asfchums
