Principal's Recognition Lunch April 2025
Last week, our Centre Principal Lisa Richards held the termly recognition lunch to celebrate students who have demonstrated leadership skills and qualities in college and outside of their studies.
Centre Principal, Lisa commented:
Our student leaders this year have been exceptional. Whether they have been members of the Student Council, part of the ambassador team, sports leaders or academic mentors, they are excellent role models and set the standard for other students across college.
It is important to acknowledge and celebrate their hard work, creativity and service to the college, so today's event was very special.

“The Student Council this year has been absolutely amazing! They all have all worked extremely well together from their initial first meeting and each week they developed into an excellent team who work hard in planning and organising a number of events in college, coming up with creative ideas to boost the student’s morale and overall college experience. Each event was fun and interactive but also ensuring they listen to the voice of the student body.
Each and every one of them has shown excellent leadership skills but have also worked exceptionally well as a team, supporting each other as well as supporting the college community. In addition to this, each member of the Student Council visit SLT each week to represent the student voice. They have done this with pride, positivity and professionalism, sharing ideas they are passionate about.
