Principals Recognition Lunch December 2024
This week, our Centre Principal Lisa Richards held the termly recognition lunch to celebrate students who have stood out so far this term to curriculum and support staff! A huge congratulations to all nominated students.

In the coursework element Isabelle has conveyed diligence, through numerous re-drafts of her script, responding extremely well to feedback, leading to the creation of a funny and heart warming script, not easy to achieve! Isabelle has also participated on Open Day, speaking to parents and prospective students, promoting our course with enthusiasm."

"Elva has had a good start to sixth form and she is a great addition to the class. She is not shy of speaking up in class and offers well thought out ideas. She works really hard and even though she sometimes gets frustrated during the coursework she still perseveres and wants to do her best. Elva is a pleasure to teach and I look forward to see how she develops as a media student."

"A2 T level Education - All of her teachers agree that Jess is a pleasure to teach. Her hard working attitude, happy and smiley demeanour demonstrate her suitability for working with children. She is not only hard working in college, but in placement too. She was recently asked to accompany the teacher on home visits. This is a responsibility that would never be expected of a student, but her maturity, professional attitude and friendly manner meant that her placement provider were more than happy for her to take part. She greatly enjoyed this and wrote an account of this for her teacher."

"Alex has made a strong and much improved start to the A2 politics year. He is engaged in every lesson and is much more active in lessons in sharing knowledge and views. He takes part in lots of enrichment activities this year, including debate club twice a week and week and English’s ‘shut up and write’ where he has used this opportunity to complete additional Politics exam questions. Alex’s average grades have significantly improved as a result of his new positive attitude and increased effort in the subject. Alex was particularly dedicated to the US election where he did an all-nighter to watch the results come in!
