Staff raised over £2000 for Cancer Research!

This term, a handful of staff completed the Pretty Muddy 5k at Heaton Park and raised a total of £2050 for Cancer Research!
In April, a very valued staff member Paul Martin suddenly passed away. When Paul was just 10 he was diagnosed with a brain tumour called a medulla blastoma. Paul underwent surgery at Booth Hall hospital and then underwent radiotherapy on his head and spine through Christies.
Paul went for a lunch time walk every day, so in his honour some of his colleagues took on the challenge of Pretty Muddy! Many of the staff also completed the 5k in honour of their family and friends who have been affected by cancer.
A huge well done to all for their fundraising efforts!
