We have taken the difficult decision not to hold the Open Evening scheduled on Tuesday 28th September on the college site. This will be replaced with a virtual open evening where visitors can access some excellent online resources and live talks from key staff and teachers from across the college including a virtual tour of our facilities. Our preference would of course have been to have prospective students and their families to come on to the college site to see the college in person and have those important conversations with staff to support you with your decision making, and this was what we had been planning. However, after a thorough review and planning process of our forthcoming events and wider discussion within the local authority, we felt it was not the right decision to hold the open evening on campus in light of increasing covid cases in the area with the potential to add to further community transmission.
