Art Foundation students from Ashton Sixth Form College travelled to Blackpool last week to conduct primary research for their man-made structure brief. Blackpool beach itself runs along seven miles of sand. The iconic Blackpool Tower, which is over 120 years old, stands centre stage at over 150 metres.

Ashton Sixth Form College’s annual careers fair took place on Monday, bringing together 74 exhibitors from across the UK. Imagine Your Future 2017 included 31 universities, 7 apprenticeship and training providers, 24 employers, 3 extra-curricular opportunities and 9 departments.
Bob Berry, Assistant Executive Director Learning at Tameside Council, visited the college to meet with our PGCE students last week from ASFC Higher Education and Adult Skills.
