Would you like a sneak peek at our brand new course for September 2023 - Geology?

The 90-minute session includes a short lesson on plate tectonics and a brief history of geological time. Next, we look at the geophysics of ocean spreading centres and create our own mini ocean ridge model. Lastly, there is a dinosaur gait activity where students will calculate the speed of various dinosaurs from their fossil trackways. 

This twilight session will take place here at Ashton Sixth Form College on Tuesday 8th November 2022, 4:15pm - 5:45pm and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
