Examinations Invigilator

Required for the 2024/25 academic year - Casual/Seasonal contract

Seasonal working during examination periods (November to June inclusive).  You must provide availability for at least 4 whole days per week (or 8 mornings/afternoons) and be available to work at least 3 whole days per week (or 5 mornings/afternoons).

Please be aware that booking holidays during an exam series should be avoided, especially the week before and after the May half term as these are notoriously busy.

Grade 3 pro rata £13.32 per hour (including holiday pay)

We are recruiting seasonal examination invigilators to join our current team, to contribute to the effective and efficient running of all our extensive programme of internal and external examinations during the 2024/25 academic year.

Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided - your willingness to learn along with your reliability and flexibility are more important.  The successful candidates will have high standards and will be highly committed and enthusiastic.  They will be able to work both under direction and on their own initiative.  Working previously as an invigilator, within an educational establishment or with young people would be an advantage.

Closing date for applications:            Early applications are encouraged as we may close this opportunity before the final deadline of midnight Monday 26th August 2024 if we receive a large number of applications

Interviews to take place:                   w/c 16th September 2024
