Physics students at Ashton Sixth Form College live up to the Physics Challenge!

27 April 2013

The British Physics Olympiad AS Challenge is an exciting opportunity for students to stretch their lateral thinking skills and apply fundamental physical principles to novel situations. The AS Challenge is a single, one-hour paper that provides an excellent tool to assess and challenge student’s ability to work at A-Level and beyond. It consists of about 10 minutes of thought-provoking multiple choice questions followed by a short answers section that tests subject knowledge and application.

Pictured are students who have received their certificates for participation from left to right Ryan Critchlow, Liam Smith and Syed Ahmed who were all awarded a Bronze certificate, Thad Kenny and Kyenaht Afzal who received Silver certificates. Well done to all students who took part in the Physics Olympiad.
