Young Enterprise Students at the Trafford Centre

10 February 2017

Ashton Sixth Form College's Young Enterprise students are trying their hand at becoming the next Alan Sugar. Students made their way to the Trafford Centre in Manchester to sell their customisable chalkboard grow your own herb sets. They were recognised for their innovative and stand-out product, receiving the 'Best Product' Award by Young Enterprise.

As part of the Enrichment offer availabe at the college, Young Enterprise students gain a real overview of the business world, from the planning and marketing to buying and selling stages.

The Young Enterprise Company programme aims to develop students entrepreneurial skills by giving them the tools they need to set up their own business.

Today, students are hoping to add to the £200 plus profits they have already earned this year.
