Ashton Sixth Form College’s annual careers fair took place on Monday, bringing together 74 exhibitors from across the UK. Imagine Your Future 2017 included 31 universities, 24 employers, 7 apprenticeship and training providers, 3 extra-curricular opportunities and 9 departments.

Marking its fifth year, Ashton Sixth Form College’s Imagine Your Future careers fair brings together universities, employers, training and apprenticeship providers, and alumni under one roof. Students and their parents from year 8-13 are invited to speak to a range of exhibitors from across the sectors. Ashton Sixth Form College’s dedicated careers advisers were on hand to provide information and guidance on routes to a number of careers.

The careers fair brings together a range of students from different levels with the main aim to increase awareness of pathways and career options. It is a culmination of a month’s worth of guest speakers and lunchtime lectures at Ashton Sixth Form College. Imagine Your Future provides students with an opportunity to think about some of the wide ranging career opportunities that are increasingly available.
