Primary Teaching Jobs Secured for Current PGCE Students

28 April 2017

Emma first started studying at Ashton Sixth Form College in 2008 when she enrolled on the Level 3 Certificate in Early Years as a mature student. She then completed her Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) in Education here at Ashton Sixth Form College before progressing onto a PGCE with us. We are thrilled at Emma's success, having worked her way through all those levels of qualification. Good luck in your new job Emma!

Amy joined our School Direct Primary PGCE having completed a degree in Accounting and Finance. Amy gained lots of experience in a primary school prior to applying for the PGCE where she met teachers who were dedicated and passionate about teaching.  This secured Amy's decision to apply for a PGCE herself.  Now she has secured her first primary teaching role.  Good luck Amy!

The college's degree and post graduate programmes are validated by our University partner, Staffordshire University.  They too are proud of Emma and Amy's success.
