Alumni Dance Workshop with Co-Artistic Director of Panic Lab

1 December 2017

Alumni Jordan Lennie took some time out to visit his former Performing Arts department at Ashton Sixth Form College recently to run a contemporary dance workshop, helping them to develop their technique.

Jordan Lennie studied Dance, Drama and Law during his time at Ashton Sixth Form College in 2010, achieving AAA. Following his studies at the college, Jordan progressed to the world renowned Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. Since then, he has danced in Paris, Berlin and London and performing at the Royal Opera House and Sadlers Wells.

Now, Jordan is Co-artistic Director of Paniclab about to begin a European tour, as well as working with Russell Maliphant.

Students currently studying A-Level Dance at the college gain a wealth of experience from both alumni and guest visitors. Alumni such as Jordan, bring an incredible amount of talent and creativity to the classroom, inspiring current students to think and dance differently. Students are able to ask questions and gain from others experience in how to progress on to a career in the Performing Arts industry.
