Performers raise £600+ for Veterans

8 December 2017

Back in November, dancers and performers from across Tameside gathered at Ashton Sixth Form College for an evening called 'Lest We Forget'. The event raised over £600 for Tameside Armed Services Community.

A-Level Dancers presented the cheque to David Brown, a representative from TASC, an organisation who work with Veterans and their families throughout the borough, offering support and advice, organising events and reunions, creating a network for those who have fought for their country.

The Performing Arts Department work closely with TASC to put on this annual event that really does bring the community together for an incredible cause.

Lest We Forget 2017 featured performers and chaperones from - Boundary Dance, Torque Youth Dance Company, Kirsten’s Dance Academy, 2faced Theatre Company, Next Geneneration Youth Theatre, Dawn Healy-wilde Sotd, Ashton Sixth Form College, Droylsden Academy.
