College community gathered in honour of Remembrance Day 2018

9 November 2018

The college community came together in the courtyard to mark Remembrance Day.

Led by the College Chaplain Rev. Jean Hurlston, students and staff commemorated the men and women who have served their country.

This year in particular, marks 100 years since the signing of the Armistice on 11th November 1918 and the end of WWI.

After a series of words from members of the Student Council and staff, the college fell silent for two minutes as a mark of respect at 11am.

"When you go home, tell them of us and say 'For your tomorrow - we gave our today'."  - of the Kohima Epitaph
