Work placement student ran focus group with MMU

5 December 2018

Business students took part in the work placement component of their course last week.

Those studying a full-time vocational course in Level 3 Business have the opportunity to gain work experience in businesses across Tameside, Oldham and central Manchester.

Prince undertook his work placement with Manchester Metropolitan University within the Student Recruitment and Outreach Team.

His role was to lead on a project and gain an understanding of the Recruitment department of a university.

He returned to the college as part of his placement to run focus groups with current students to inform part of the research.

Students on most full-time vocational courses attend a placement as part of their course, providing them with the outstanding experience to set them apart in the future.
