*Applications now open for September 2021*

This course is aimed at Adult Learners wishing to gain the skills, knowledge, and qualifications to secure a ‘full’ teaching role in the Primary Education and Training sector. A ‘full role’ is defined as the delivery of teaching or training that involves: the planning (e.g. schemes of work and lesson planning) and the delivery of teaching and learning activity; the assessment of learners; and related student support.

This school direct course will train you to become a qualified primary school teacher. You will graduate with a Post-graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). We will develop your knowledge and teaching skills to support you in becoming a confident and inspiring practitioner, with the ability to spark children’s imaginations and develop learning.

Benefit from small class sizes and teaching delivered by highly experienced lecturers from both ASFC and our partner institution Liverpool Hope University.
