A2 Student speaks at Manchester Blue Talk

Alex Kennedy, is a second year student here at Ashton. She studies Law, Politics, Health and Social Care and EPQ. 

Recently, she attended a talk at the Manchester Cathedral for the Manchester Blue Talk. The talk was surrounding the issues of climate change and our oceans. 

 

Alex had an amazing time speaking at the event. She spoke all about oceans and education and the power of community when it comes to tackling the climate emergency!

Alex has a conditional offer to study Politics at MMU for when she leaves Ashton this summer. Alex devotes many hours and days to helping her community and has gained experience within the political world. Well Done, Alex!
