Celebrating Student Success - First Class Honours Degrees

19 October 2018

Over 70 students are celebrating making the grade and graduating from University courses at Ashton Sixth Form College.

Students whose achievement of first class honours degrees were invited back in to the college to receive a gift and to enjoy a glass of bubbly with the college Principal Anton McGrath and Assistant Principal for Higher Education Jo Fletcher-Saxon as a mark of the students’ tremendous achievements.  Assistant Principal for Higher Education, Jo Fletcher-Saxon, said “we are thrilled that the students have excelled and achieved first class degrees here at the college.  It is also recognition of the high levels of academic skills and support offered by our Higher Education teaching staff. We wish the students every success with their future careers.”

Some of of the students  started out on short introductory courses with us, some on PGCE now and one now a Head Teacher at an alternative provider. They are a stunning bunch of both Education & Early Years specialists!

Congratulations!
