Tameside Council talk expenditure with Economics

Tameside Council visited Economics students at Ashton Sixth Form College. 

The council visited the college as part of their public consultation on expenditure within the local borough of Tameside.

Students had the opportunity to see how council's work from a financial perspective and see how they budget and use their money across the borough they live in. 

Jody Smith, Policy and Strategy Service Manager, and Anna Wiley, Policy Support Officer, spoke to the students about the Tameside budget. By visiting the A-Level class, students were given a unique opportunity to have their say. Representatives from Tameside Council listened to the students' opinions on the propsed budget plans.
