Photography students explore Leeds Arts University

1 April 2019

Photography students visited the Leeds Arts University as part of the Realising Aspirations programme.

Students who have chosen the 'Photography and Marketing' strand of the programme travelled to Leeds in just 45 minutes by train.

While at the university, students had the chance to enhance their skills in film photography and dark room. Heading out in to the city, students captured their images using film cameras and then returned to the university to develop their photos firsthand using the incredible facilities at Leeds Arts University.

Photography students were able to gain a basic understanding of how film cameras work and the process of producing their own images.

Following the workshop, students were able to explore the university and find out more about the range of courses on offer by the specialist university.
