Football Coaching try out Ultimate Frisbee

28 February 2020

Football Coaching students tried out ultimate frisbee.

Following weeks of rain, the skies cleared and the sports department took advantage of the opportunity to get outside.

Ultimate frisbee is a team sport that involves no contact. The game centres around the flying disk and points are scored by passing the disk or frisbee into the opponents end zone. The key rules of the game ensure that the player holding the disk must not move and all passes must be complete.

The game is unique in that it combines a number of skills from other games in a unique way.

Students had to quickly adapt and develop their communication, resilience and confidence.
