21 October 2020

Public Services students have been working with Andy Gillman MBE this week, learning all about the Ministry of Defence for their Government assignments.

While the current guidance doesn't allow the college to welcome visitors in the usual way, the Public Services department have adapted to ensure their students still gain invaluable insight and experience in to their future industries.

Andy Gillman MBE has worked in the Ministry of Defence for 40 years. His role has led him to assist with conflicts such as the Falklands and he was also an advisor to Downing Street in the aftermath of 9/11.

Student in class joined a video call with Andy, while week A students joined the call from home, ensuring everyone could take part and learn about the Ministry of Defence directly from somebody who knows it best.
