The XL Academy recently began a new partnership with The Civil Service. 

Ashton Sixth Form College's XL Academy has become well established over 12 years. The Academy enhances and stimulates our most able and highly achieving students with an exclusive and unparalleled range of support and enrichment activities.

At the beginning of term, 16 A2 students part of The XL Academy visited the home of GCHQ, DiSH Manchester. The students had the opportunity to experience a mock COBRA meeting, as well as participating in a budgeting task and exploring various career routes.

The students had a great day and came away with valuable interview and application skills. A huge thanks to GCHQ for working with our students and giving them this opportunity.
