After completing his studies at Ashton Sixth Form College, Owen went on to study International Business & Spanish at the University of Leeds - a university which is currently ranked 6th in the UK for Business courses out of 122 institutions, according to the Complete University Guide

Following the completion of his university course, Owen progressed on to a range of roles and was successful in securing an internship at the Bank of America. He now works at J.P. Morgan as a Market Analyst. J.P. Morgan is an American investment bank and services company, founded in 1871. The bank was a key figure of economy on the famous Wall Street of New York and is a household name in the industry.

Owen spoke to a number of classes during his visit about his personal experiences in college and the career he has been building since leaving. He also shared invaluable advice about application processes to join work experience/apprenticeship schemes.

His visit allowed current students to ask a former student who has been in their positionm, any questions they may have. He also inspired them to think creatively and gain a better understanding of the opportunities that are within their reach.
