Students who have successfully gained a place on the Pembroke College Oxnet programme with the University of Oxford, attended the first of their Humanities seminars.

The seminars were hosted at the University of Manchester's School of Arts, led by Dr Nicholas Cole, Pembroke College's Senior Research Fellow.

Throughout the Oxnet programme students will develop their understanding of university-style teaching while improving their skills in note-taking, communication and organisation.

For students who want to progress on to university, this is an incredible experience that has the ability to set them apart when completing future applications.

This seminar follows the Study Skills Day students attended earlier in the month at the University of Oxford on 5th February.
